Three more positive

IMPHAL, Jun 22 : Three persons from the general population in Imphal West have tested positive for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours out of 54 samples tested. With this development, the State's active case load has risen to 6.
Aside from this, one person has been discharged from home isolation but there is no report of any Covid related death during the last 24 hours.
Nonetheless, the pandemic had already claimed 2120 lives in the State.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the State stands at 1,37,250 (general population 1,32,236 and Central security personnel 5,014).
This figure includes six active cases from the general population and 1,35,124 recovered cases (general population 1,30,117 and Central security personnel 5,007).
The recovery rate is 98.45 per cent.
The cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered in the State has reached 29,44,058 (first dose 15,87,207, second dose 12,51,756 and precautionary dose 105,095).
As of Tuesday, 61.95 per cent of the State’s total eligible population has received the first dose of Covid vaccine while 52.93 per cent has been given both the first and second dose.
