Held with cough syrup

IMPHAL, Jun 24 : A team of Imphal East commando and women police personnel arrested a 60 year old woman along with 174 bottles of Cough Syrup from Kshetrigao Mayai Leikai this morning.
The woman has been identified as Yumkhaibam Sherabhanu and she is a resident of Kshetrigao Mayai Leikai.
According to credible sources, the police  team rushed to Kshetrigao Mayai Leikai and carried out a frisking drive on receiving specific inputs about the presence of drug peddlers there.
During the drive, the woman was arrested from the auto-rickshaw parking at Kshetrigao Mayai Leikai along with 174 bottles of cough syrup by observing necessary formalities.
She has been handed over to Porompat police station along with the seized items.
