Search Ops conducted

IMPHAL, Jun 2 : A team of Imphal West commandos conducted a surprise cordon and search operation in the surrounding areas of Kasturi Crossing, Thangal Keithel, covering Dharmasala, Bora Gali, Ngari Gali and Yaima Store stretch from 4.30 pm to 5 pm today.
During the operation, around 135 individuals were detained and verified. Four persons were picked up and handed over to the City Police for further verification.
Separately, another team of Imphal West commandos also conducted a house to house search and verification operation at Kwakeithel Kounathabi area from 6.35 am to 7.40 am today. During the operation, 96 individuals were verified including three UG bail outs. No one was picked up for further verification at this instance.
