IMPHAL, Jun 2 : Education Minister Thounaojam Basanta Kumar attended the 2-day 'National Conference of School Education Ministers' held at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
It may be noted that the 2-day National conference, which started from June 1, was jointly organised by the Department of School Education and Literacy under the Ministry of Education and the Education Department of Gujarat.
At the conference, Th Basanta Kumar picked National Education Policy 2022 and said that the State Government is working tirelessly towards implementing the same.
He added that Chief Minister N Biren Singh also regularly holds talks with the stakeholders concerned in this regard.
The conference was graced by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel and Minister of Education, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Padhan as the chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
