30th foundation day observed

IMPHAL, Jul 10 : The 30th foundation day of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Imphal was observed today under the theme of "Anouba Malemgi Firal Puribi Nupising" today at Pheidinga.
The event was attended by Nongthombam (Ongbi) Hiyainu, wife of Chief Minister N Biren Singh as the chief guest; Waikhom Bormani, president, Women Welfare Association Manipur and Moirangthem Priyosakhi, general secretary, Heingang Mandal Mahila Morcha as the guests of honour. Meanwhile Rajyogini Brahma Kumari Nilima presided over the 30th foundation day observation function.
Speaking as the chief guest, N Hiyainu said women play a big role in maintaining and improving a family.
Stating that a mother usually spends more time with her children in comparison with the father, she highlighted the need for women to interact with their children with gentle words and lead them on the right path. She also added that old age homes are necessary in our society and can serve as a place for old people to gather and form their own community.
