IMPHAL, Jul 15
The Directorate of Art & Culture has invited applications from eligible persons to avail assistance under Chief Ministergi Artistessingi Tengbang (CMAT) for 2022-23 in five categories.
The notification issued by L Kishworjit Singh, Director, Art & Culture Manipur has listed the five categories : i) CMAT-Scheme for artistes' pension ii) CMAT-Scheme for assistance for participation in international and national festivals, iii) CMAT-Scheme for assistance to the cultural group for training with new production, iv) CMAT-Scheme for purchase of instruments/equipment and v) CMAT-Scheme for award to distinguished artistes.
The notification has also instructed individuals to download the prescribed application form from http://artnculturemanipur.gov.in/ and submit the duly filled in application form along with the necessary documents to the office of the Directorate of Art & Culture, Palace Compound latest by August 20.
One person can apply for one scheme only at a time and applications received after the due date will not be entertained, the notification added.
Lastly, it has been informed in view of the rising number of Covid positive cases that applications will be accepted through a drop box on the 2nd floor of the Directorate Office.
