Two books were released during an event held at Manipur Dramatic Union hall organised by Leimarol Khorjeikol (Leikol) today.
The two books are Kshetrimayum Subadani's anthology of short stories 'Ashengba Eral' and Mutum Ramani's poetry book 'Karamna Themgani', a statement has shared.
The book release ceremony was attended by Karam Shyam, MLA Langthabal AC as the chief guest; N Kirankumar, convenor, Manipur Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi as the guest of honour and Professor Aruna, Dean, School of Humanities, MU as the president of the function. Meanwhile, S Tomba and Wahengbam Chanu presented an introduction to the two books.
