Tree plantation drive conducted

A tree plantation drive was carried out by 25 BRTF Imphal on 59 km road starting from Finch Corner to Kamjong with the help of Forest Division Manipur.
A large variety of different fruits bearing trees were planted during the tree plantation drive, said a statement by 25 BRTF
Karamyogis of BRO had also taken benign steps in the past to construct plastic roads and tree transplantation to mitigate effect of pollution and plastic waste on a trial basis.
Tree plantation will help in mitigating air pollution, enriching soil humus and in controlling soil erosion and floods, added the statement.
