Fever outbreak

MOREH, Jul 4 : A strange fever outbreak has gripped Kwatha Khunjao as over 20 locals of the village including children and elders have fallen ill with similar symptoms such as muscle aches, stuffy nose, headaches etc since the past few days.
Speaking to media persons, member of Kwatha Village Authority Ningthoujam Chaoba said that most of the sick villagers take medicines such as amoxycillin and paracetamol without consulting any doctor but there is no sign of healing.
There are also some families where more than one person are being infected, he said and added that the doctors at the nearby Primary Health Centre ( PHC) had been apprised to assess the situation.
