KANGPOKPI, Jul 4: The election to the office of Sadar Hills District Sports Association is scheduled to be held on July 8 at Kangpokpi district headquarters, informed the election committee.
According to Helkhomang Hangshing, the convenor of Sadar Hills District Sports Association Election Committee, election to the posts of a president, two vice president, a secretary, and a treasurer of Sadar Hills District Sports Association will be held for the term 2022-2026.
Filling of nomination form and last date of submission will be on July 7 and scrutiny and withdrawal will be done the same day while the date of polling, counting of votes, and declaration of results, as well as oath-taking, will be done on July 8.
The nomination paper can be obtained at the office of Sadar Hills District Sports Association, the election committee convenor said while adding that nomination papers may be delivered by a candidate or proposer or seconder to the Returning Officer between 2 pm and 4 pm on July 7.
