Free enrollment drive concludes

The free enrollment drive which began on August 16 under the supervision of local MLA, Letzamang Haokip concluded today at B Vengnom Community Hall.
Speaking to media persons, Letzamang Haokip stated that the drive was conducted to help the economically weaker section of the society who need healthcare facilities.
The MLA also expressed his gratitude to all for making the drive a grand success.
During the drive, registration for Chief Minister-gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT), Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) health card, farmer's card and Unique Disability ID (UDID) were carried out in various areas of Henglep AC including Tuila, Santing, Henglep Headquarters, Loktak Project, Khousabung, Kangvai and B Vengnom.
A total of 830 eligible persons registered for health cards, 891 for farmer's cards and 48 for UDID.
Staff from PHC Henglep, State Health Agency, District Agriculture Department, ISA under State Health Agency, District Family Welfare Department were engaged in the drive.
