Boycott on MPCC lifted

IMPHAL, Aug 27: The boycott imposed on the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) and its MLAs by the media has been lifted with immediate effect.
The decision to lift the boycott was taken at a joint meeting of the MPCC president, Congress MLAs and MPCC office bearers with representatives of EGM, MHJU and AMWJU on August 26, said a statement jointly signed by presidents of EGM, MHJU and AMWJU today.
MPCC leaders gave assurance at the meeting to clear the pending advertisement bills in two instalments by the end of October 2022 while the first installment would be paid by the end of September, added the statement.
