2nd Manipur Olympic Games : Imphal East beat Imphal West for women's Polo title

IMPHAL, Aug 28 : Imphal East District Polo Association were crowned women's Polo champions in the 2nd Manipur Olympic Games.
Imphal East women beat Imphal West rivals 7-3 at Hapta Kangjeibung to seal the top honours.
H Priya Devi hit four goals in this one sided encounter for the winning team as Th Tanna added 2 goals and Kh Habe  managed 1.
Imphal East women led 1-0 till halfway but pumped in five goals in the third chukker to take a 6-0 lead. M Priya added her fourth in the penultimate chukker to make it 7-0 before I Sangita, Victoria Oinam and Neelu RK took their turns to score for the Imphal West team late on.
