Awareness programme on "Drug Abuse and Prevention" held

BISHNUPUR, Sep 12 : Thinungei Makha Youth Club (TMYC) in collaboration with New Life IRCA, Torbung Bangla organised a 1-day awareness programme on "Drug Abuse and Prevention" at Thinungei Makha Lamlong.
It was attended by SDPO Bishnupur PS, Manoj Prabhakar; Thinungei GP Ward No 8 member, Angou; Ward No 7 member, T Jiten; CADA general secretary, Geetchandra; and New Life IRCA director, Kh Brojen as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, TMYC president, N Prakash expressed his concern over the increasing cases of drug abuse among the youths in the State.
He stated that the awareness programme was conducted to sensitize the public on the ill effects of drug abuse.
Geetchandra and Kh Brojen also spoke on the occasion.
