Two arrested

IMPHAL, Sep 13 : Imphal East commandos arrested two active cadres of PLA/RPF from Takhel Mayai Leikai under Lamlai police station along with one 9 mm pistol yesterday at around 4.35 pm.
The two PLA cadres have been identified as Leishangthem Khomei (53), s/o (L) Bidhu of Haraorok Mayai Leikai and Khangembam Sanjoy @ Athoi @ Pambei (28), s/o Manglemba of Kumbi Setapur Maning Leikai.
According to sources, one 9 mm pistol along with a magazine, one car (Alto) and two mobile phones were seized from the possession of the two arrested persons.
As per sources, the duo joined the outfit through self styled captain Hemba of RPF/PLA and they are presently working under his command.
The arrested persons along with the seized items have been handed over to Lamlai police station.
