Meitei Tombi condoled

IMPHAL, Sep 18: Manipur State Shumang Leela Council has condoled the passing of noted Shumang Leela artiste Moirangthem Tombi alias Meitei Tombi with the offering of "Shradhanjali" today.
The condolence function was attended by L Tarpon Singh, advisor, Manipur State Shumang Leela Council; M Purnimashi Leima, president; Ph Gunachandra Sharma, lifetime president and many eminent Shumang Leela artistes.
Sougrakpam Hemanta, lifetime secretary, MSSLC lauded the contributions of Moirangthem Tombi for the development of Shumang Leela.
Some noted works of the deceased Shumang Leela artiste include Jibanmala, Pon gi Chekla, Sons of Manipur, Dekon, Imagi Ibungo, XYZ, Makhong Taragi Cheingak among others.
