World Cleanup Day observed

SENAPATI, Sep 19 : National Service Scheme of Don Bosco College, Maram in collaboration with Seven Sisters Foundation Senapati observed World Cleanup Day under the theme, "Let’s do it India" on September 17.
Various clubs of DBC Maram and Don Bosco Higher Secondary School assisted in the observation.
During the event, volunteers were divided into groups to clean different allotted locations like Maram Centre-Peren road, Maram Centre-Maram Bazaar Highway, Maram Centre-Leirouching Highway and the School & College campus.
The volunteers collected more than 50 Kg of plastic bottles and waste materials.
Similarly, Seven Sisters Foundation in association with Tribal Knowledge Foundation, Tsiibe Foundation and Rise Senapati Volunteering Group also carried out a cleanliness drive in Senapati District HQ to celebrate World Cleanup Day.
