Agri-business training programme concludes

The three-day agri-business incubation training programme on 'Entrepreneurship Development Through Food Processing' organised by ICAR-KVK Churachandpur concluded today with an event held at Pearsonmun, Churachandpur.
According to a statement, the function was inaugurated by Dr K Joychandra Singh, Director, ICM, Imphal as chief guest; Dr I Meghachandra Singh, Joint Director, ICAR RC for NEH region, Manipur Centre as functional president; Dr G Kadirvel, Principal Scientist, Division of Animal Health & Fishery Science, ICAR RC for NEH Region, Umiam as guest of honour; RK Banita Devi, Child Development Project Officer, ICDS, Churachandpur and Dr SS Roy, Senior  Scientist, Horticulture & Nodal of TSP, ICAR RC for NEH Region as special guest.
Altogether 21 trainees participated in the 3-day training programme.
The dignitaries distributed various inputs related to the programme and conducted a hands-on demonstration on various food processing and preservative techniques.
