Team of Bharat Vikas Parishad visits RIMS Cancer Ward

A team of Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP), Manipur Prant visited Cancer Ward of RIMS today and distributed food supplements, health drinks, hand towels etc to more than 80 cancer patients who are admitted at RIMS hospital for treatment.
A press release by BVP, Manipur Prant stated that the programme was organised as a part of observation of ‘Seva Pakhwada’ programme in connection with the 72nd birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Members from Bazar Mahila Sakha, Linthoingambi Sakha and Imphal Sakha were also present at the programme.
Professor Dr H Priyoshakhi Devi, president, BVP, Manipur Prant said that Bharat Vikas Parishad is helping needy persons for the upliftment of the society and to help in building a strong nation.
She, on behalf of Bharat Vikas Parishad, prayed for the wellbeing and speedy recovery of the patients at the hospital, added the release.
