IMPHAL, Sep 20 : Hoineihat, Remi led the scoring as Manipur U-17 girls crushed FABINDIA, Rajasthan by 20-0 goals to cruise into the quarter finals of the ongoing 61st Subroto Cup for junior girls at BR Ambedkar Stadium, New Delhi.
Having beaten Maharashtra 3-1 yesterday, the State team represented by Wangoi Higher Secondary School, came out all guns blazing to seal an emphatic 20-0 win against the Rajasthan school today.
Hoineihat and Remi scored four goals apiece as Thoibisana and Diana netted three goals each in this big win for Manipur. Menaka and Nandeshwori also registered two goals each as Vasty and Kim contributed a goal apiece.
With the result Manipur emerged Group A winners and qualified for the last-8 stage of the competition.
