Food processing training concludes
Ukhrul, Sep 21 : The 2-days training cum sensitisation programme organised by Diocesan Social Service Society (DSSS) on "Food processing and value addition" for Ringrum Farmer Producer Company under Mission Organic Value Chain Development For North Eastern Region (MOVCDNER) Phase-III concluded today at Chingjaroi Khunou village, Ukhrul.
At the event, DSSS field staff Leishingam Luikham highlighted the objective for organising the training programme.
The participants were also educated on preparation of food items like King Chilli Pickle, Green Chilli Pickle, Ginger Candy, Ash Gourd Candy, Sumac Powder, Tree Tomato, Banana Chips, etc.
More than 70 farmers from Rorkola FIG, Pavaradew FIG, Angirala FIG, Matha FIG, Khamatek FIG, Azhacho FIG, Aringdong FIG, Shedewvang FIG and Angdopa FIG participated in the training programme.
