Mt Everest Taekwondo Championship : M Priyadarshini, L Priyanka win gold

IMPHAL, Sep 24 : M Priyadarshini and L Priyanka add two more gold medals to India's tally in the 1st Mt Everest CGS International Open Taekwondo Championship being underway at Pokhra, Nepal under the aegis of Nepal Taekwondo Association.
M Pridarshini won the gold medal in junior girls' U-46 kg event while L Priyanka earned the gold medal in the senior girls' U-62 kg category.
A Kishan Singh (U-55 kg) and N Sania (U-55 kg) also won India silver medals as Ak Devika Devi settled for a bronze medal in the senior girls' U-49 kg category competition.
Yesterday, L Rohit, Taorem Brainyson and Sanachand Nongthombam sealed a gold medal in the group Poomsae event.
Kh Quana and Bidyananda Ph also won silver medal in Poomsae pair event while L Rohit won a silver medal in the poomsae individual event.
Kh Chan Chan (Jr U-59 kg), Taorem Brainyson (individual poomsae) and N Ronil (Jr boys bronze) on the other hand earned bronze medals.
The championship which kicked off on September 22 ends tomorrow.
