Heroin seized

IMPHAL, Sep 3 : Bishnupur police seized 22 soap cases of heroin from Kwakta Ward no 8 along Gothol Road, today.
The drug was brought by two persons namely Lhum-khosei Haokip (37) s/o Jamkhongam Haokip of Hollenjang village, Chandel and Ngamkholen Khongsai (24) s/o Limsei Khongsai of Leisem Tampak, Chura-chandpur, according to police.
The two drug peddlers reportedly came in a motorcycle (Royal Enfield) and they disclosed that the drug weighing 268 gram was to be sold to prospective buyers.
Both of them have been handed over to Phougakchao Ikhai police station.
