Pravish Chanam remembered

IMPHAL, Sep 9: Chanam Jugindro, father of Late Pravish Chanam has sought the attention of the State Government to urge the authorities concerned to provide justice for his son at the earliest.
He made the above appeal while speaking at the 5th death anniversary observation of Pravish Chanam held at his residence at Uripok Achom Leikai today organised by People Action Committee Against the Brutal Killing of Pravish Chanam, family members of the deceased and women organisations.
Recalling the mysterious death and cremation of his son without informing the family members at Greater Noida in September 2017 after he reportedly went missing, Jugindro lamented that justice has been delayed though the case has been handed over to CBI.
Considering the distress of the family members, he demanded the authorities concerned to ramp up the investigation process and deliver justice by providing befitting punishments to the culprits at the earliest.
The attendees also paid floral tributes to the photo of Pravish and condoled his demise.
