CAU Imphal celebrates 30th foundation day

IMPHAL, Jan 27: The 30th foundation day celebration of Central Agricultural University (CAU) Imphal was held yesterday at the auditorium of College of Agriculture, Iroisemba.
Addressing the occasion, CAU Imphal Vice-Chancellor Dr Anupam Mishra informed that the university is striving for a progressive academic atmosphere through all means. He informed that various measures are being taken up to create an enhanced and developed administration and academic management.
Many Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) have been inked with renowned national and institutional institutions to effectively implement New Education Policy in CAU Imphal, he added.
The Vice-chancellor also called for concerted efforts from the students and faculties of the varsity to make it a premier educational institute.
As a part of the programme, Art of Living State Director, Roshnikumar Sharma and ISKCON Manipur Vice-president, Swami Ramanuja Das also delivered motivational speeches
The event was also attended by Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat former Vice-chancellor, Dr KM Bujarbaruah, CAU  Imphal, College of Agriculture Dean, Professor Indira Sarangthem, faculties and students.
It is worth mentioning that CAU Imphal established in January 26, 1993 which has 13 constituent colleges now has been working earnestly for the promotion of agriculture and its allied fields.
