ABVP national organisation secretary arrives in Imphal

Ashish Chauhan, national organisation secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) arrived in Manipur on Wednesday for a three day visit aimed at fostering peace and educational empowerment in the region.
In a release, ABVP Manipur informed that Ashish Chauhan's arrival in Manipur marks a significant step in ABVP’s commitment to promoting peace and educational development in regions affected by turmoil.
During his visit, Ashish Chauhan engaged in discussions with the dedicated frontline village volunteers, recognizing their invaluable contributions towards restoring tranquillity to Manipur.
The national organisation general secretary of ABVP also visited the Ithing Relief camp, where he spent time interacting with the students residing there.
Recognizing the importance of education in shaping the future of the youth, he also distributed various study materials to the students, including books, notebooks and stationery.
He also took the opportunity to impart valuable lessons and insights to the students, emphasizing the importance of education, unity, and peace-building in the region.
ABVP Manipur conveyed that Ashish  Chauhan's visit reaffirms its commitment to nurturing peace and fostering educational excellence in Manipur
ABVP Manipur also asserted that the organisation continues to stand with the people of Manipur in their pursuit of a harmonious and prosperous society.
Meanwhile, Ashish Chauhan accompanied by ABVP North East zonal organizing secretary Kamal Nayan also visited UNACCO School Meitram, Imphal West, and interacted with the students staying at the school's hostel on Wednesday.
UNACCO School chairman Ningombam Irabanta Singh; O Polendro, DGM; Nandeibam Shyamchand, DGM UNACCO School; Apurva Sundar Das, Principal; and students of Classes IX, X, XI & XII took part in the interaction programme, said UNACCO School in a release.
The programme began with N Irabanta Singh giving a warm welcome to ABVP leaders.
At the event, Ashish Chauhan called for unity and exhorted the students to give more focus on national policy making.
He also answered various questions raised by the students and conveyed that the greatest wealth & strength of the nation is its youth.
The programme culminated with a group photo session with the students.
