Manipur bag two medals in 38th Junior Athletics Championship

IMPHAL, Nov 9: Manipur bagged one gold and one bronze medal in the 38th Junior Athletics Championship 2023 being held at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
Manipur's Huidrom Bhumeshwari Devi bagged one gold medal in the 1500 metres race event. She completed the 1500 metres in 4:29.27 minutes.
Ningombam Malemnganba bagged one bronze medal in the under 18 boys' 10,000 metres race walk event.
N Malemnganba completed the race walk event in 44:52.40 minutes. He is son of Ningombam Inaocha and Ningombam ongbi Angoubi Devi of Bashikhong Mamang Leikai.
