Rapid open chess tournament

IMPHAL, Nov 9: The 1st Kangba Rapid Open Chess Tournament 2023 will be held on November 18 and 19. The tournament will take place on the 4th floor of Baldev Bhawan, Uripok Khoisnam Leikai, Imphal West. Entry form may be had from the office of Kangba Chess Academy during 10 am to 6 pm. Last date of submission of entry form will be November 12 and with fine upto November 17. No entry fee will be taken from players staying in relief camps/displaced by the current conflict. A total of 31 players under age group 5 to 19 years will also be selected from the tournament to join a 2-day free non residential chess coaching camp, said a Kangba Chess Academy in a statement.
