State team head to Shimoga for Women's One Day Trophy 2023-24

IMPHAL, Nov 13 : A 20-member Manipur women's U-15 team including 5 support staff left Imphal for Shimoga today for the Women's U-15 One Day Trophy 2023-24 beginning from November 17.
The players who will be representing Manipur are Sheikh Neha, Robeni Usham, Nganthoi Salam, Hanjabam Jyotika Sharma, Joyshree Charoibam, Irengbam Sushmita Devi, Laitonjam Joshika Devi, Okram Yashika, Moirangthem Yaiphabi Devi, Barkatun Khanam, Wakila Shani, Mutum Lanchenbi Devi, Thoithoibi Ahongshangbam, Creety Moirangthem and Manithoi Salam.
The team were led by support staff comprising Ayekpam Pakhangba Luwang as manager, Haobam Sunil as coach, Akoijam Tenyson as assistant coach, Cherish Salam as trainer and Anupama Hijam as physio.
MNCA in a notification also announced that the State Men's U-19 team consisting of 15 players and 7 support staff will leave Imphal tomorrow for Ahmedabad for the Cooch Behar Trophy 2023-24 beginning from November 17.
The players include Seram Robinson of YWC-L, Md Imran Khan of RCA, Hanjabam Naoba Sharma of ESU, Heishnam Manikanta of YWC-L, Max Warokpam of PCC, Salam Richie of PTRC, Md Aqeel Ahamed Phundrei-mayum of KASC, N Basant of SCCC, Ningthoujam Rahulkumar of YUCC, Md Illiyas of RCA, Pheiroijam Jodash of CRAU, Ningth-oujam Thoiba of YUCC, Khaidem Joyraj of PTRC, Khundrakpam Punshiba of YUCC and Heishnam Joyhenba of CRAU.
The support staff meanwhile comprise Samukcham Robertson as manager, Pheiroijam Rohendro as head coach, Raj Kumar Jotish as assistant coach, Toijam Bikenson as trainer, Atanu Singha as physio, RK Reengkoo as assistant physio and Thokchom Santosh as sidearm thrower.
