Committee restricts sale and purchase of land in Langol

IMPHAL, Nov 14: 91- Meitei Langol Coordinating Committee has imposed a ban on sale and purchase of land in the Langol area.
Addressing the media at Manipur Press Club yesterday, Samom Dhruba, advisor, 91- Meitei Langol Coordinating Committee alleged that there are reports of people from a different community occupying abandoned plots of land at Langol after violence erupted on May 3.
He also advised any individuals wishing to proceed with buying/selling of land in Langol area to consult with 91- Meitei Langol Coordinating Committee and other CSOs beforehand.
Anyone found acting in violation of this restriction should bear the consequences of their action, said the Committee advisor.
