Four State athletes shine at Asia Masters Athletics Championships

IMPHAL, Nov 14 : Four State Athletes won as many as 7 medals for India at the Asis Masters Athletics Championships which was hosted by Philippines from November 8 to 12.
Th Radhesana won a gold medal in the women's 40+ 4x100 m relay event taking 55.34 seconds and a bronze medal in 80 m hurdles with a time of 15.65 seconds.
L Bembem Devi won two silver medals for India finishing second in the women's 45+ Long Jump event with a leap of 4.19 m and in the Triple Jump event with a 8.39 m finish.
Th Ashalata also won a silver and a bronze medal by finishing second in the women's 40+ 5 km race walk with a time of 38.34 minutes and third in the 2000 m steeplechase wherein she took 11.18 minutes.
S Somananda in the meantime secured a silver medal in the men's 40+ tripple jump event with a 11.34 m finish.
