Cdl 1st Divn Tourney : Japhou YC, Lambung YCC post victories

IMPHAL, Nov 14 : Japhou YC and Lambung YCC posted wins in today's matches of the ongoing DC Chandel 1st Division Football Tournament at Sports Complex Chandel.
In the fifth match and Pool A's third match, Lambung YCC beat Anal Khunou YC 1-0 courtesy a 70th minute strike from HL Phantumgam.
Meanwhile in the sixth match and Pool B's third match, P Thanglianmung scored twice (18', 73') to hand Japhou YC a 4-2 win over Riverlane YC.
Thanglianmung earned Japhou YC the lead in the 18th minute but BH Oliver drew level for Riverlane YC two minutes later. 8 minutes later, Japhou YC retained the lead as LK Robert of Riverlane YC conceded an own goal.
After the restart, RL Motilal further extended the lead to 3-1 in the 69th minute before Thanglianmung was at it again in the 73rd minute to make it 4-1.
HB Oliver scored another for Riverlane YC late in the 86th minute but could not further change the scoreline.
