Farmers' awareness cum seeds distribution programme held

BISHNUPUR, Nov 14: A farmers' awareness cum Rabi crops seeds distribution programme was held at Naranseina Maning Leikai community hall today.
The programme was organised by COCOMI Farmers Wing under the sponsorship of the District Horticulture and Soil Conservation Bishnupur, MOMA and MIDH Govt of Manipur.
District Horticulture Officer, Bishnupur Soibam Sushila; Thinungei Zilla parishad member O Joy Singh, Phubala GP pradhan N Ranjit, COCOMI Farmers Wing member K Jiten and co-convenor AB Elangbam attended as the presidium members of the programme.
Winter crops seeds such as mustard, cauliflower, pulses etc were distributed to the farmers during the programme.
The dignitaries while speaking at the occasion, appealed to the farmers to avail the benefits of the awareness programme and to work earnestly for a 'Green Manipur' by growing more crops.
