L Joymala appointed as Manipur Congress Mahila Seva Dal president

IMPHAL, Nov 21: Lairikyengbam Joymala Devi  has been appointed as the president of Manipur Pradesh Congress Mahila Seva Dal as per an order issued by Lalji Desai, Chief Organiser, All India Congress Seva Dal.
In today's order, Chief Organiser Lalji Desai expressed hope that the newly appointed president of Manipur Pradesh Congress Mahila Seva Dal will play a significant role in strengthening the Committee.
It may be noted that Lairikyengbam Joymala Devi who hails from Khurai Sajor Leikai, Lamlong under Khurai Assembly Constituency joined the Khurai Block Congress Committee in 2009 as Additional Mahila Organiser. Then, in March of 2011, she joined the Congress Seva Dal. In 2012, she was promoted to the office of Joint Secretary of the Congress Seva Dal and as Secretary in the following year (2013).   
The newly appointed president has also participated in the seven-day North East Zonal Congress Seva Dal Training Camp held at Arunachal Pradesh in 2013; Azadi Gaurav Yatra held in Rajasthan from April 6 to June 1 and various other training camps of the Committee organised at Imphal Congress Bhavan.
