IMPHAL, Nov 29 : KCC-Kongba notched up a 6-wicket win over NAPSA-Kha Imphal at Model Hr Sec School and Oriental College Ground today to register their fifth win on trot in the 3rd MNCA Super Plate Tournament Group A competition.
NAPSA won the toss and opted to bat first but were bundled out of a dismal total of 109 in 32.5 overs as N Arbin (3/11) and W Somorjit (2/17) of KCC shared five crucial wickets to set up the batting collapse. KCC then cruised to winning 110/4 in 26.4 overs. The win helped KCC go top with 10 points.
N Bipin added the highest 24 runs for NAPSA followed by A Premchandra 15, H Boney 13, Ch Mitamnganba 13 and T Dhanakuber 9 not out.
KCC's Y Sheiteendra, N Singthoi and Kishan also picked a wicket apiece in this innings before M Rohen 37, N Dijaraj 34 and N Arbin 23 posted a winning 110 in 26.4 overs with 6 wickets left to spare.
S Albert (2/22), S Roben (1/17) and H Boney (1/19) were among the wickets for NAPSA.
N Arbin was adjudged man of the match.
Elsewhere at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium,  YWC-Langthabal defeated RCA-Lilong by 47 runs for the third win in Group B competition.
YWC-L racked up a modest total of 167 for all wickets down in 39.2 overs but successfully defended the total by restricting RCA to 120/9 in 40 overs courtesy bowlers' frugal efforts.
Bikramjit and Bingson scored identical highest total of 31 runs as Herojit and Robinson added similar 20 runs each in YWC-L's tally. Subash and Jiko also added 18 and 17 runs respectively. RCA's Alfash (2/32) and Salim Khan (2/41) picked two wickets each in this innings as Zuned Hussain, Anush and Nawaz Sharif claimed a wicket apiece.
In the chase, Alfash led the scoring with 28 runs before they ended up adding 120 runs with Prasantamani (4/25 in 8 overs) and Chingkheinganba (2/16 in 5 overs) of YWC-L performing exceptionally well.
 Saad 17, Zuned Hussan 15 and Zamir Khan 15 were also main run getters for RCA in a lost cause.
Prasantamani was eventually named man of the match.
