Bhumeshori races to 1500 m gold in Jr Athletics Nationals

IMPHAL, Nov 8 : Manipur's Huidrom Bhumeshori  bettered her performance to win a gold medal in the 38th National Junior Athletic Championship being underway at Coimbatore.
Huidrom Bhumeshori who clocked  4:31.82 to win a bronze medal in the 2022 championship hosted by Assam at SAI Athletic Stadium, Guwahati topped the 1500 m competition today with a 4:29.27 finish to seal the top honour. She is the youngest of three siblings (two brothers) born to late Huidrom Basanta and Huidrom ongbi Mangi Devi of Huidrom Awang Leikai.
