LPG stoves, gas donated to relief camps

BISHNUPUR, Dec 10: A team of “Chakhum-gi Meiri Mut-han-gumsi” (Let’s Keep the kitchen flames steady) volunteers and ex-servicemen handed over 57 LPG stoves and gas cylinder refill subsidies to the representatives of 28 relief camps at the premises of MLAs T Robindro Singh and S Premchandra Singh, MLAs of Thanga & Kumbi AC respectively. Out of the 28 relief camps, 12 were from Kumbi and Wangoo areas while the remaining 16 were from Thanga AC. In addition, LPG stoves for 2 relief camps in Bishnupur and Ningthoukhong were also distributed today. It may be noted that the “Chakhum-gi Meiri Mut-han-gumsi” mission has been initiated and implemented by members and  volunteers of Chakhum, Manipur Times and a dedicated team composed of a network of people in support of this mission, with the financial support from individuals and mission partners.
