MJA announces State Judo teams for Sub-Junior Nationals

IMPHAL, Dec 13 : The Manipur Judo Association has announced the names of judokas who are shortlisted to represent Manipur at the Sub-Junior National Judo Championships 2023-24 due to be held from December 15 to 18.
The boys who were named in the team are L Davidson (30 kg), M Avijit (35 kg), N Jayananda (40 kg), Th Rohit (45 kg), W Achouba (50 kg), Lenin Yumlembam (55 kg), Kh Johnson (60 kg), M Dinesh (66 kg) and K Tondonba (66 kg). They will be led by coach Ng Surchandra and team manager M Sanathoi.
Meanwhile the girls team comprise Laishram Marcy (28 kg), Malemnganbi (32 kg), N Kajan (36 kg), Maibam Manipur Leima (40 kg), Akham Chingkheinganbi (44 kg), Laishram Aeli (48 kg), Huidrom Hemabati (52 kg), Chanambam Jeeny (57 kg) and Kh Monika (57 kg). A Premlata and Ch Tomba will be leading the team as coach and manager respectively.
