HIV/AIDS Sensitization & Life Skills Education programme held

A 1-day HIV/AIDS Sensitization and Life Skills Education programme was held on Saturday at Tamphasana Girls Higher Secondary School, Imphal.
A release issued by Manipur State AIDS Control Society (MACS) informed that the programme was inaugurated by Dr Vinita Elangbam, Principal of the school and Dr Beema Howdijam, Deputy Director, IEC & Mainstreaming, MACS.
Around 200 students participated in the programme organised by MACS under its Adolescence Education Programme.
During the programme, Wangkheimayum Bimolata Devi, Regional Training Manager (Blended Training), SAATHI and Phanjoubam Lanngamba, Assistant Director, MACS took sessions on the topics, 'Life Skills Education' and 'HIV and AIDS' respectively.
