One-day free medical camp for sugar screening held

KAKCHING, Jan 31: EMA Hospital, Kakching Ningthou Leikai in collaboration with Kakching District United Clubs Organization (KADUCO) conducted a one-day medical camp to offer free sugar screening test for detection of diabetes at Hiyanglam Wabagai Lamkhai Keithel under Kakching district.
Speaking in this connection, N Radhamani, HR Manager, EMA Hospital stated that the camp was organised in the interest of hardworkingwomen vendors plying at Hiyanglam Wabagai Lamkhai Keithel.
Altogether 216 people were tested at today's camp and out of these, 60 were found to suffer from diabetes who then received advice on the medical treatment they need to undertake.
