PCC crush KASC by 180 runs in 2nd MNCA Superplate Tournament

IMPHAL, Feb 28 : PCC-Mayaikoibi overwhelmed KASC-Khomidok by 180 runs in the second Group B match of the ongoing 2nd MNCA Superplate Tournament at Kongba Khunou Dhobi Lampak, Imphal East.
PCC chose wisely to bat first after winning the toss and piled up a huge total of 291 runs for 8 before restricting KASC to 111 all out within 26.5 overs.
With Charoibam Tyson (23), Rohit Soubam (31), Thokchom Anil (37), Takhelmayum Vikash (31) providing early flourish before Huidrom Dhanashyam scoring an unbeaten 88 off 61 balls and 53 extras, PCC were able to post a commanding total.
KASC's Md Javed Aktar picked three (3/47) and Qurshid Alam managed twice (2/62) in this innings.
In reply, KASC were skittled out for a paltry total of 111 runs with PCC bowlers- Chingakham Ranjan (2/15), Ajay Mahto Kumar (2/10), Mathurabashimayum Jobanta (2/10), John N Hmar (2/26) and Rohit Soubam (2/11) putting in a concerted bowling effort to tear down the KASC line up.
Huidrom Dhanashyam who led the scoring for PCC was  named man of the match.
FORCE wil play CDCC in the second Group A match tomorrow.
