Mishap claims one

IMPHAL, Mar 18 : A pedestrian was killed after he was hit by a water tanker truck at Uripok Yambem Leikai along Uripok Kangchup Road near Sakhi Devi School this morning at around 8.30.
The deceased has been identified as RK Brojen (60) of Uripok Yambem Leikai.
He was hit while trying to cross the road.
Reportedly, RK Brojen died at the site of the accident while the corpse has been deposited at RIMS mortuary.
The driver of the tanker truck has been arrested by the police along with the vehicle.
A case has been registered.
