Driver found dead inside truck

CCpur, Mar 18: The lifeless body of a driver has been found inside a truck today.
The deceased has been identified as Samuel Gouminthang (27), S/o T Lianchinhau of Bethlehem Veng, Rengkai.
He was engaged in the construction works of a PMGSY road between Hanship and Bungpilon.
As their fuel stock was low, he along with one of his friends were dispatched to collect fuel from the town on March 16. As their truck met with some technical issue on the way, he dropped off his friend and went alone. He had reportedly told his family that he would not be returning home. The next day calls made by his family and friends went unanswered. Today at around 1 pm, the truck was found parked on the roadside at Nghathal village with his lifeless body on the driver's seat.
The body has been claimed by the family members and no police case has been registered as they suspect “no foul play”.
