Awareness programme held

THOUBAL, Mar 18 : District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Thoubal in collaboration with Social Upliftment Network (SUN), Khangabok today organised a 1-day awareness programme at the premises of United Youth Club in Khangabok Maisnam Leikai.
It was attended by Konjengbam Anita Devi, District Child Protection Officer, DCPU Thoubal; M Rameshor Singh, retired senior accountant, Accountant General (A& E), Manipur; and Laishram Nabakumar Singh, president SUN Khangabok as presidium members.
At the event, resource persons, Reena Chanu Moirangthem, Legal cum Probation Officer, DCPU Thoubal and Laishram Leimathoibi, manager/co-ordinator, Specialized Adoption Agency, Thoubal delivered lectures on the topics, "POCSO & Child Marriage" and "Child adoption".
