Former Chairman of Autonomous District Council LK Kasaso Laii has urged the authorities concerned to address the acute water shortage issue in Laii village in Senapati district.
In a statement, he said that the villagers of Laii village were using water from rivers and water bodies located in the surrounding areas of the village.
However due to drying up of these water bodies, the villagers are reeling under water scarcity issue which has become the cause for many problems such as health issues etc.
