Water storage tanks distributed

Under their ongoing Civic Action Programme, the 86 Battalion CRPF distributed water storage tanks today for the villagers of Rangkhung-1 village under Noney district.
The initiative was carried out under the aegis of Sandeep Datta, IG Manipur & Nagaland Sector CRPF and under the supervision of Mohamand Yusuf, Commandant, 86 Bn CRPF.
The program was conducted at  Public Ground, Rangkhung-1 and attended by Mohamand Yusuf; Thonglenlal Haokip Dy Comdt, 86 Bn CRPF, other officers of 86 Bn and Dinglin Riamei, chairman of Rangkhung village as presidium members.
During the programme, Mohamand Yusuf addressed the gathering and stated that the distribution of the water tanks was done with the aim of stocking water to ensure its availability during hot and dry summer season so that people will not face scarcity of water in the village.
On behalf of the Rangkhung-1 villagers, village chief Dinglin Riamei expressed gratitude towards the 86 Bn CRPF for providing the villagers with the much necessary water storage tanks and requested them to extend similar programs in the future.
