IMPHAL, Mar 26 : Laiphrakpam Rojina of KMAC topped the senior women's 50+50 m Indian Round competition in the Khelo India Dus Ka Dum Women's Archery Tournament held today at SAI-NERC, Takyel.
Rojina shot 583 points (x+10=13) to win the gold in a keenly contested final round with her compatriot Millenia Thokchom who shot the same point but with fewer x (innermost circle) count (x+10=8). Moirangthem Baby was third in this competition.
In the 30+30 m sub-junior girls competition BCAC's Soibam Lingjenthoibi shot 669 to win the gold as K Sandiya settled for silver with 657 points.
In the 40+40 m junior girls competition, Villenia Thokchom of LMLCC beat Kh Landoni of FAC 588-549 to seal the top honour.
Y Sanamanbi Chanu of ESU won the 60+60 m Sub-Junior Recurve girls title with a 558-548 beating of L Rabina of SAIRC as 70+70 m junior girls' title went to Y Anupama of SAIRC who shot 531 points against second placed Chongtham Naobi of VAA who shot 436 points.
In the senior girls 70+70 m final round, Th Shwasita of SAIRC beat L Omila Grace of GAC 515-481 to win the gold.
In the 50+50 m junior compound competition, Th Senyai of VAA overcame her compatriot Mutum Prity 547-507 to finish first as Bidya Wahengbam of VAA won another gold in the 50+50 m junior girls competition by beating UAC's N Roshni 544-479.
Lummila Phungshok of SAIRC in the meantime fetched the 50+50 m senior girls compound title by shooting 557 points against 522 gathered by SP Lydia of ARAC in the final round.
