Sadananda enjoys fifer as PTCC thump RCA by 59 runs in Superplate Tourney

IMPHAL, Mar 28 : PTCC-Patsoi Part III sealed an easy 59 run victory over RCA-Lilong for the second straight Group A win in the ongoing 2nd MNCA Superplate Tournament at Kongba Khunou Dhobi Lampak.
Put in to bat first, PTCC gathered 191 runs being bundled out in 34 overs with as many as three batters getting run out after Paonam Champion hit a slow but significant 95-ball 68.
PTCC however spoiled RCA's bid for second win by bowling them out for 132 runs in 33 overs courtesy Sadananda Okram's fifer (5/43).
Andyroshan Mandingbam also added 32 runs to PTCC's tally in their innings which saw RCA conceding 32 extras. Bm Sabakhan fetched two wickets for 32 runs in this innings as Md Danish, Afjal Khan and Md Iliyas Khan claimed a wicket each.
In reply, Zamir Khan and Bm Sabakhan posted highest identical 23 runs while Danish added 20 runs as Sapam Kenjit and Sohail Akram of PTCC shared two wickets and Sadananda wreaked havoc with a five wicket haul and walked away with the man of the match accolade.
