New college opens

KANGPOKPI, Mar 31 : Sorshia Christian College, a brand new residential college has opened its doors to students at Mapao Zingtun under Kangpokpi district and is further looking to recruit five Assistant Professors for each department.
A statement issued by Dr Atom Sunil Singh, Director, Office of Strategy Management, Sorshia Christian College has urged interested candidates to apply through the college website at www.sorshiachristiancollege.com.
The statement added that this year, Sorshia Christian College will cater to students who are interested in pursuing Arts subjects, namely, English, Sociology, Political Science, History, Education, Manipuri, Tangkhul, Hindi, and Psychology, among others.
Sorshia Christian College has a first-class building with a solid infrastructure of classrooms, conference halls, student hostels and teaching and non-teaching staff quarters. The college will also offer high-quality education to students with a commitment to hard work, dedication, and community service, the statement said.
