Yengkhom Roma conferred lifetime achievement award

IMPHAL, Apr 19 : Veteran artist of Manipuri film, Yengkhom Roma has been conferred the Oinam Baldeva Lifetime Achievement Award 2023.
The award was presented today during the 80th Birth Anniversary observation of Late Oinam Baldeva organised by Oinam Baldeva Memorial Trust, Keishamthong Elangbam Leikai  at Hotel Nirmala, Thangal Bazar.
It was attended by Kh Jugindro Singh, Member, NEZCC & EZCC, Ministry of Culture, Government of India; Dr L Gojendra, former president Critics' Forum Manipur and Oinam Nabakanta Singh, chairman Oinam Baldeva Memorial Trust as presidium members.
The award was conferred to Yengkhom Roma in recognition of her contributions in the field of Theatre and Film.
As part of the event, the participants observed 2 minute silence and paid floral tribute to a photograph of Oinam Baldeva.
